In 2012 I tasted ghee for the first time while studying yoga and Ayurvedic Medicine. Because of all the incredible health benefits, I knew adding it to my inventory of herbal medicines was important. Full Moon Ghee was born 2 years later as an addition to the Sweet Birch Herbals product line and now I am infusing herbs, spices, cacao, and local maple cream into the most recent varieties. Blending my passion for herbal alchemy with food as medicine makes my heart sing!

Hannah Jacobson-Hardy is the founder and visionary of Full Moon Ghee. She is a practicing herbalist based in the Hilltowns of Western Massachusetts. After nearly a decade of studying and teaching Western, Chinese, and Ayurvedic plant-based medicine, she became inspired to craft small batches of high quality ghee for her community. As an herbalist, Hannah envisions the ghee as a holistic component of her practice, bridging sustainable agriculture and food-as-medicine. Hannah loves to see the smile on people’s faces when they try the ghee for the first time, discovering the delight of deep nourishment.
