Formerly Pioneer Valley Organic Farm. Nestled in the scenic Berkshire foothills, Drowsy Dragon Farm is a certified organic berry farm, with 16 varieties of blueberries, and several varieties of black, red and golden raspberries. We make jam July through October, when the berries become ripe. Our jam is low-sugar and made with our delicious organic berries, with 3:1 or 4:1 ratios of fruit to sugar for our blueberry jam and 4:1 for our black, red and golden raspberry jams. Using organic seeds and soil, we are also growing microgreens. Microgreens are sprouted seeds, which are delicious and retain all the nutrition of the original seed but in a more easily digested form. Mild and spicy mixes make an excellent garnish for soups, stews, salads, sandwiches and other dishes. Pea and sunflower shoots are more substantial and make an excellent salad or base for a salad with a light dressing of oil and vinegar.
